World’s biggest Darwaza
Buland Darwaza is the highest gateway in the world and was made in memory of Gujrat victory so it is called also Victory Gate
Fatehapur Sikari:-
Fatehpur Sikri is the chaityagriha established by Akbar in 1569-84 in Agra (Uttar Pradesh). It is situated about 23 km away from Bhubaneswar (the capital of Odisha) & Rajsthan border. Fatehpur Sikri was designated a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1986.
•Important things:-
By the bless of Chishti Salim (Jahangir) was born in Sikri so Akbar decided that the site of Sikri was auspicious and made it his capital.
•The Other Monuments:-
All the notable buildings built here - Jama Masjid, Salim Raja - Rani Kam Chisti's Tomb, Buland Darwaza (the victory gate), Diwan-e-Khas, Jodha Bai's Palace, Birbal's Palace, Ibadat Khana (worship house) etc. are made of red stone. Undoubtedly, these buildings of Fatehpur Sikri are considered the best among the Mughal buildings.
•By Historian:-
Smith has said that 'Nothing like Fatehpur Sikri could be built before that, nor is it possible to build something after its city Tamil Nadu. He is a Romance molded in stone.
